Linda Raftree is co-founder of Kurante, LLC and advises the Rockefeller Foundation’s Evaluation Office on the use of ICTs in monitoring and evaluation and has worked as Plan International USA’s senior advisor on innovation, transparency, and strategy. She has also conducted research on adolescent girls and ICTs for UNICEF, the role of ICTs in child/youth migration for the Oak Foundation, and the use of mobile technologies in youth workforce development for the mEducation Alliance. Linda is also co-founder of Regarding Humanity and advocates for greater discussion around the ethics of ICT use and data privacy. Linda serves on the boards of the International Center for Advocates against Discrimination and Social Impact Lab (creators of FrontlineSMS) and writes ‘Wait… What?,’ a blog about new technology and community development.
