Amanda Puckett BenDor is IntraHealth’s technical advisor for Digital Health and knowledge management and leads the organization’s work on the USAID-funded K4Health Project. She also represents IntraHealth as co-chair of the Global Digital Health Network, a forum for 2500+ members from 81 countries to share information, and engage with the broader digital health community. Amanda serves as the mHero Global Coordinator, working with local and international stakeholders to support the mHero platform in West Africa. mHero allows ministries of health to communicate with frontline health workers through basic mobile phones. Amanda has worked with governments of the Ebola outbreak countries to implement mHero to support health workers amid the Ebola crisis, and currently works with those stakeholders to facilitate the recovery efforts to ensure health systems are strong and more resilient in the future. Amanda holds a Master’s in Public Health from Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
