Dr. Lydia Tesfaye Tadesse is a physician from Ethiopia with a passion for working with children and young adults. Dr. Tadesse earned her medical degree from Addis Ababa University's School of Medicine, where she also worked as a lecturer for undergraduate Health Science students. She is an advocate for public health and has over eight years of experience providing health services. She worked as a treating physician and in various managerial roles for close to two years at Jamma Primary Hospital and currently oversees the department of Communications and Members Affairs at the Ethiopian Medical Association working as the senior officer, where she is involved in multiple health projects, the advancement of medial education, and medical ethics. 

Dr. Tadesse strives to improve health care delivery systems through various advocacy efforts. She volunteers for local NGOs such as Nutrition 4 Education Development, the Matiyos Wondu Cancer Society, the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, and the ONE Campaign as a ONE Champion.  She is passionate about changing her country's health system and is a leader committed to empowering young adults and women to achieve it.
