Manoj Mohanan is assistant professor of public policy at Duke University. His research examines topics in health economics, development economics, and health services research, mainly focusing on provider and patient behavior in the context of information and incentives. His research on quality of healthcare has contributed to development of innovative methods to measure quality and has been published in leading economics and health journals including Review of Economics and Statistics, JAMA-Pediatrics, Health Affairs, and International Journal of Epidemiology. He is a founding member of COHESIVE-India: The Collaboration for Health Systems Improvement and Impact Evaluation in India. Manoj received his PhD in Health Policy (Economics) from Harvard University. He also holds degrees in public health (Harvard SPH) and in medicine (Grant Medical College, India).
